Since its inception in 2003, EnergyCAP Canada Inc.’s sole mission is to provide Energy efficiency and Management information systems to Canadian entities that subscribe to the adage “What gets measured, gets managed.”

EnergyCAP Software’s history dates back to 1980. EnergyCAP was originally developed by Omnicorp Inc., the predecessor to EnergyCAP, Inc., who continues to meet the growing demand for Energy Management software. When PCs were in their infancy, the team launched the development of FASER Energy Accounting. FASER was first commercially released in 1982 and quickly became the industry standard for utility bill verification, tracking and reporting, and the calculation of the cost avoidance attributed to Energy Management activities. It was widely used by retail chains, government bodies, universities, school districts and property managers. By the mid-1990's, FASER's thousands of users tracked an estimated five million bills a year, valued at $2 billion.

Drawing on a combined thirty years of experience in the field, the EnergyCAP Inc. team developed a new line of energy efficiency software products called EnergyCAP. The premise of the new line is simply this: "If you could develop FASER all over again from scratch, what would you do better?" The result is a product line that is far superior, simpler to use, more powerful and flexible, and easier to support.

A key distinction of EnergyCAP is its deployment flexibility. Some providers offer just a bill payment outsource solution. Other providers offer web-based software as its only service. Others simply sell shrink-wrapped desktop or LAN software. In contrast EnergyCAP can be fully customized to provide all or any of the above combination to fit your IT, security and database hosting requirements.
