GreenQuest is used by homeowners and single commercial building owners. GreenQuest's charts, graphs and tables show you how you’re doing: this year vs. prior years, your building vs. your “peer group,” and your building vs. ENERGY STAR and U.S. Dept of Energy benchmarks. How? GreenQuest combines energy information from your utility bills, weather data from AccuWeather.com, greenhouse gas emissions factors from the U.S. EPA plus comparisons with thousands of other GreenQuest users.

What is GreenQuest? If you're going for a greener world, GreenQuest can get you there. GreenQuest is your FREE personal energy information website that combines information on energy spending, weather data, greenhouse gas emissions and energy use for your building.

Who Uses GreenQuest? If you receive energy bills (for example, electric, water, natural gas or oil) for one building, you can use GreenQuest as your personal energy information solution. Track any building – your house, office, apartment, condo, restaurant, church, store, etc. Because earth-friendly organizations sponsor GreenQuest, you can use it for FREE!

The Value of GreenQuest

With GreenQuest, you can get a handle on your energy spending and use: Learn how your energy use is affecting the environment. Anticipate future energy use and cost thru weather data. See how you compare with your neighbors. Measure the effects of energy projects like new windows or air conditioners. Submit your commercial building data to ENERGY STAR for an energy rating. GreenQuest is a powerful solution for living green!

How GreenQuest Works Using GreenQuest is simple. First, get your utility bills. You can enter up to three types of bills for one building. For example, electric, natural gas, and water. GreenQuest will ask for a few pieces of information from your bills. Enter the data and you're done. Repeat this every time you receive a utility bill. Soon you'll build up a history, so you can easily view usage and cost trends (how much you're using and how much you're spending).
