Import Bills from Vendors Using a Flat File Format
Flat file formats (Excel-like spreadsheets) are more readily available from vendors than EDI 810 format. To accommodate this widespread accessibility, EnergyCAP’s flat file importer is very flexible. The flat file importer is recommended when you can receive 50 or more bills in electronic format at one time. Work Flow Manager includes auditing and verification processes. The bill below was imported from a vendor.
You can import any amount of detail into EnergyCAP, from simple usage and cost formats to many line items.
Both EDI and flat file (Excel) formats are available.
The flat file imported is very flexible – just lay out the column headings per the import rules and you’re ready to go.
