Powerful SQL Server allows for the storage of an unlimited number of bills, accounts, meters, buildings, etc. Our largest user enters, tracks and pays nearly 50,000 bills per month using EnergyCAP. The Client-Server version requires you to provide a license for a Microsoft SQL Server (2000 or 2005), and associated operating systems and server hardware. Desktop versions include MSDE (a ‘lite’ version of Microsoft SQL Server), so the package is ready for ‘plug and play.’ You may connect Desktop versions to your own copy of Microsoft SQL Server that is already running on a network server.
