Training can also be provided through onsite sessions at a location of your choosing or online. Any EnergyCAP related topic can be covered during these sessions. The complexity of training topics vary depending on the audience in attendance and features requested to be covered. Before training is performed we will work with you to construct a customized outline of training topics that you would like to cover, and then plan the sessions accordingly.
On-Site Sessions
If you need additional in-depth hands-on training this is the best option for you. These are typically divided into two day sessions that are six hours of training per each day. All trainer expenses are included in the costs. You will need to provide a training venue and relevant training equipment (typically an overhead projector, internet connection, etc.). There is no limit on the number of attendees so feel free to invite anyone that will be using EnergyCAP.

Custom Online Training
An EnergyCAP Canada trainer can provide online training sessions on any topic of your choosing. If you need additional training, this is an efficient and cost-effective way to get that done. Online sessions can be purchased à la carte, and are priced on a per-hour basis. This is an easy way to simultaneously facilitate training sessions with people at multiple locations. EnergyCAP Canada predominantly uses www.GoToMeeting.com as the Web platform and then a conference call line. Instructions on how to access the Web conference will be provided to you by your assigned trainer. To attend, launch a Web browser, click on the link, and you will be directed to join the meeting (you may need to install the Citrix components if it is your first time using the service). It is a very easy and inexpensive way to host training sessions remotely, so you can save on travel expenses! Another benefit to online training is the option to record the training session. If you wish to have your session recorded, be sure to let your trainer know prior to the scheduled event date.

Catalyst Online Training Series
In order to strengthen your EnergyCAP skills, we offer semi-monthly online training sessions (two times per month) on the Enterprise version of EnergyCAP. There is no cost to attend, and the sessions are conducted at the convenience of your computer. All that's required is a high-speed Internet connection and a phone to be included in the conference call.

Annual Catalyst Training Conference
Once a year, Good Steward Software hosts a User Group Training Session, titled Catalyst, on the campus of Pennsylvania’s State College. Any current or prospective EnergyCAP user is welcome to attend. The two-day (with optional third day) training conference will train you to save money and energy by using EnergyCAP. Whether you’re a new or experienced user, Catalyst has training sessions for you. With separate tracks for different types of users, Catalyst presents hands-on, exercise-based instruction on all aspects of EnergyCAP usage.

Ongoing Training
If you would like additional training after the initial EnergyCAP implementation, there are a couple of options to choose from. We have a selection of short videos that are available to visually walk you through various parts of EnergyCAP. If you are interested the development of custom training videos using your own data, we can create a custom library for you to train new employees or refresh the knowledge of current ones. Ensure you’re receiving the most benefit from EnergyCAP. You can choose the topics of interest and we will provide the personalized videos with your own database.
